Trailer reactions...

Just posting a few of the reactions from some of the people who have been lucky enough to see the new trailer before its release...

"I'm very proud with how this film is turning out. It's been a long time coming, and very stressful, but I hope this trailer goes some way to giving you a feel of how this film is going to be." - Luke Morgan-Rowe, Producer

"That... is GOOD! So good, that I can *guarantee* the server will crash. People are gonna go nuts about it!" - Dewi Morgan, Associate Producer.

"That is wonderful! I dig it." - Justin R. Durban, Composer

"This trailer is giving you Payne to the Max - John Woo is going to retire!" - Patrick Streutjens, PayneReactor.com Administrator

"A super professional and polished trailer for a final feature that I can't wait to see." - Ben Dean, Stills Photographer

Nearly there...
Tuesday, August 7, 2007, 03:54 PM
Afternoon, comrades.

OK, let's get down to brass tacks...

The confirmed runtime for the new trailer is 2 minutes and 9 seconds. I'm editing it myself from copies of the film's master tapes that were burned on to DVD (before HD-DVDs came out, unfortunately), so again, it won't be HD, but don't let that dismay you! I'm using up every free moment I have to get this trailer out to you guys as soon as possible, so it shouldn't be long now... Maybe even next week!

Watch this space,

Where are they now?...
Thursday, August 2, 2007, 11:18 PM
Evening, people.

Due to the vast amount of e-mails we have recently received regarding the progress of the film and its release date, we haven't been able to reply to everyone's inquiries, so I will make an official announcement here.

Post-production on Max Payne: Payne & Redemption has unfortunately been delayed by many factors, so don't expect the film until the first quarter of 2008 earliest. We apologise for any disappointment this may have caused, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles in the world of independent film. And yes, it pains us as much as it does you!

If you're wondering what more needs to be done to the film, please consult the following list...

• Recording the voice-over and re-dubbing any necessary dialogue.
• Making an auto-conform of the film.
• Filming all pick-up & practical SFX shots.
• Filming one extra scene.
• Re-editing the film to accompany the new scene, and the pick-up and practical SFX shots.
• Creating and composting all CGI FX and clear-up shots.
• Recording the film's musical score.
• Sound engineering, folies, mixing, etc.
• Creating the "Online" - The final, high-definition version of the film.

However, before you go into total despair, don't worry, as there is plenty more media to look forward to up until the film is released - Including the second trailer, a third trailer, and a 30 minute interview with cast & crew.

Please understand, that as much as we want to release the film as soon as we can, there is nothing more we can do to speed up the process than what we're already doing.

Yours,

Fergle "Larry David" Gibson,
Writer & Director.

A new trailer is on the horizon...
Monday, July 16, 2007, 06:58 PM
A new trailer is on the horizon, running at approximately one minute and forty-six seconds. Don't worry, it contains plenty of tantalizing, titillating shots, and because we listen to the fans, music from Barney & Friends, too...

... But the big question still remains... Will Nigel Billing be revealed as the main man himself?

Only time will tell...

Stay tuned!
