Updates, updates, and more updates...

Alright... There have been several ideas floating around in regards to the direction of this project and others relating to it.

I won't go into specifics yet, but suffice to say, the footage from '06 will NOT go to waste. In other words, you will get to see what we shot two years and four months ago, albeit in perhaps a different incarnation than you may have been expecting.

Next up, the re-make is still going ahead, but there have been a few changes...

Firstly, there will be two "re-makes".

One is the untitled project I mentioned back in June of last year, which is now in pre-PRE-production (if there even *is* such a thing...), and is the last project on the current "to do" list. When this goes into production is anyone's guess, and any details given from here on out are subject to drastic change - "count on it".

The other, newer project now in the pipeline, is a complete overhaul of the film we shot back in '06, but to be made the way it was initially intended, which, due to many limiting factors back then, we weren't able to achieve. Most importantly, though... No corners will be cut in the making of this film, nor any copyrights infringed.

That's all for now, folks. With any luck, I should have some other announcements to make soon!

Watch this space,

Fergle "Larry David" Gibson,
Writer & Director.

WE'RE BACK!...
Thursday, February 5, 2009, 04:17 PM
... And here to stay!

If you were wondering where we have been over the past three months, we were living it up in the Bahamas on the huge settlement that Fox had begrudgingly paid to prevent us from upstaging their "Max Payne" film. Turns out that didn't help them much, anyway...

OK, in all seriousness, we were experiencing a few "technical difficulties", which resulted in the breaking of someone's legs, so now thankfully have everything resolved.

Anywho... I'll be posting an update within the next couple days covering the recent events to do with the film, so stay frosty!

Fergle "Larry David" Gibson,
Writer & Director.

P.S. If you've been e-mailing us since October last year, and have either had your e-mail bounced back, or haven't received a reply, re-send it now, and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Max Payne videogame producer shoots down Fox's Max Payne film...
Tuesday, October 21, 2008, 12:45 PM
The head of the company that produces the Max Payne video games has joined the criticism of the movie based on the game. 3D Realms CEO Scott Miller told the video-game magazine Edge , "There are several fundamental story flaws ... in the film that have me shaking my head in bewilderment." Among them, he said, is the fact that Payne is seen in a flashback scene half way through the movie learning that his family has been murdered. Said Miller, "In the game, we put this scene right at the front of the story for a reason! Saving this scene until mid-film is a narrative blunder, because the audience needs to empathize with Max in order to like him and understand what drives him."
